About this app

AppLocker keeps your private apps private. Put a PIN, pattern or fingerprint in front of any app on your phone, so a borrowed handset never means a borrowed chat history.

LOCK ANY APP
Choose exactly which apps need protection from your full installed list. Search, filter by category and sort to find them fast. New apps you install can be locked automatically, so nothing slips through unprotected.

THREE WAYS TO UNLOCK
- PIN, with an optional scrambled keypad so nobody can learn your code by
watching your finger
- Pattern
- Fingerprint or face unlock, backed by real hardware-level cryptography rather than a simple yes-or-no check

Invisible PIN mode hides the dots entirely as you type.

DECIDE WHEN APPS RELOCK
Four relock policies, so protection matches how you actually use your phone:
immediately on leaving the app, when the screen turns off, after a timeout you choose, or on device restart.

CATCH WHOEVER TRIED
Intruder Selfie quietly takes a photo with the front camera after repeated
failed unlock attempts. Photos stay in the app's private storage on your device, never in your gallery and never uploaded. View, share or delete them from the built-in gallery, and set how long they are kept.

FAKE CRASH DISGUISE
Instead of showing a lock screen that advertises there is something to hide, a protected app can show a convincing crash dialog. A secret four-corner tap
sequence reveals the real unlock screen. Anyone else just thinks the app is
broken.

BUILT PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Analytics and crash reporting are both switched OFF until you turn them on.
Cloud backup is disabled outright. Your PIN never leaves the device and is never included in a settings backup. Unlock screens are protected against
screenshots.

ABOUT THE ACCESSIBILITY PERMISSION
AppLocker uses Android's accessibility service for one purpose only: to notice which app has just been opened, so it knows when to ask for your PIN. It is configured so it cannot read the content of your screen at all, and it listens to only the two event types the feature needs. Nothing about the apps you open is sent anywhere. Without this permission the app cannot protect anything.
