"Immortal Overlord" is very much Xianxia-coded. It's a fantasy-RPG which draws inspiration from Chinese mythologies and the hero's journey from the lens of the Orients. My experience with the game is that it's primarily an auto-battler - player input hinges only on spending resources, choosing side-quests like EXP dungeons, and so forth. The game is overwhelming at first, because it explains nothing. But the game boosts serotonin quickly if you let it play. At it's core, it's a play-and-go game.

I love the art work in this game and the store line so far. There are a little bit of bugs that you find here and there, but what game doesn't. Would love to see scenes in the game. Might want to work on the auto function. Do not get me wrong it is good that it will take you to next quest it just needs a little tweak. Also Might want to cut down on how fast one levels. One minute I was level 1 the next I was over 100 in the small amount I was able to play. Overall a good game.

The game, in its current state, appears to be straightforward and allows for rapid progression, which, while not inherently negative, diminishes the overall enjoyment for me personally. I can understand its appeal, but I don't find myself particularly captivated by it. However, as my opinion is subjective, I've rated it as a three-star experience.
