About this game

Try to guess a randomly selected word.

Enter the letters for your guess and get a response that indicates which letters are in the correct position, which letters are correct but in the wrong location, and which letters are incorrect. You will have six tries to guess the word.

The game includes various word lists to use to play including 4, 5, and 6-letter words. Each word list comes in two versions, normal and hard.

The normal version contains words that are used in day-to-day speech with some words that are less common.

The hard version contains all words from the normal version plus more obscure words.

The definition of the word can be viewed at the end of the game using one of the supported search engines. See the settings page for choosing your preferred search engine and choosing your preferred color theme.
