About this app
Ddoltoon is a comic for kids where the pictures move as you scroll. Characters walk, gasp and laugh in every scene, so even children who can't read every word yet can follow the story picture by picture.
Each episode is one small question, told short and clear — made for preschoolers and early readers taking their first steps in learning.
■ Four kinds of stories
· Old tales — fairy tales and fables, from Aesop to folk tales around the world, retold by the Ddolbeng friends. "The Wind and the Sun", "The Sour Grapes"
· Why is that? (Science) — "Why does ice float?", "Why do rainbows appear?" Everyday wonders, worked out like a little experiment.
· How many? (Math & logic) — "Which one is heavier?", "Six apples for three friends" Count, share and compare to think it through.
· Where is it? (Places of the world) — "Where is it? Cherry blossoms and a big mountain", "Where did Ddolbeng go? Camels and a big river" Guess the country from clues in the pictures.
■ Just scroll to read
Nothing to tap or search for. Speech bubbles are short, and the pictures carry the story.
■ For grown-ups
Each episode ends with a short note for adults explaining the science or the meaning of the tale, so you can keep the conversation going after reading.
■ Only in the app
