Prefect for when your thoughts drive you crazy and you can't fall asleep. I like the part where you have to imagine scenes. I don't know who writes the script but I had a good laugh when I had to imagine a computer science professor on a bicycle. And no, laughing doesn't stop me from falling asleep. 20 minutes max and I'm dreaming
Says about 10 things and then starts repeating them. I expected 20 minutes of different descriptions. This bothers me awake. I also find the female voice irritating. Prefer a deep male voice. Great idea, but needs a good deal of tweaking.
Brilliant concept, pretty good execution. I'm a person who, as psychologists say, "ruminates" - I think a lot about stressful events and problems, which gets me riled up and interferes with sleep. I could go to bed feeling calm and exhausted, but then get out of bed 40 minutes later, wide awake from my thoughts. Approaches like counting my breaths are too boring and don't prevent me from slipping back into rumination while lying in bed. This app keeps me just entertained enough so I (mostly) don't ruminate, and can stay calm enough to sleep. The initial Simple Things pack seems to have a fair number of words; I've used it for several days and only a couple of repeats so far. Thanks so much to the researchers/developers of this app - it could really change my life!
Did not work at all for me. The app uses an unpleasant female voice only, which is sometimes difficult to understand, especially with single-syllable words. After listening to this for 30-40 minutes, the only result is feeling irritated, and certainly not sleepy.
I would like more soothing voice. Even the "natutal" voices sound synthetic.
Works like a dream.
