Content is great, app is lacking. The play/pause does not work as expected on Android phones (does not show up in the media player section, does not auto pause during calls) and there are no speed settings. Also crashes more than expected. 3 stars Edit 9May2024: Speed settings are available now but the app occasionally gets incredibly slow regardless of Internet connection. 4 stars.

App is generally very good, and I love Dropout content. One issue: I keep getting notifications that I'm logged into too many devices, sometimes right after finishing a video, and I have no way to tell how many devices I have attached to my account. I'm pretty sure it's just two, but with the relative ease of logging into new devices and no notification process, I can't tell for sure. The app is solid, but it would be improved massively if I had a way to track my connected devices.

The amount of effort put into the content is amazing and very worth the subscription. The videos are well organized and it is easy to find series and new content. Only downsides is the search feature does not work well unless you know the exact title of a particular video and I can't find a way to make the on screen playback controls overlay disappear when video is paused making it hard to see still images. These are pretty minor issues. Overall the app has been great and content is fantastic!
