About this game

Colonist is a free online alternative to the challenging social and strategy based board game Settlers of Catan. You take on the role of a Colonist by building settlements and expanding your territory. Colonist combines extremely simple rules with tremendously deep gameplay. Use strategy, planning, and cunning negotiation to win.

You can train against bots, play with friends online, and even compete in our ranked mode for a spot on the leaderboard! We also offer a variety of fun custom maps to play on in addition to traditional expansions like Cities & Knights and Seafarers. You can even play with more than 4 friends with our 5-6 and 7-8 player expansions.

In the store, you will find a wide array of custom colors and avatars that allow you to personalize your profile and show off. Pick a unique color and avatar combination to instill fear in your opponents!

good game. I would actually buy it for the expansions. I am not subscribing. make a one time payment and I'll buy it and give 5 stars. Only being able to play the base map and a free weekly without upping player count, also no cities and knights or sea farers kind of sucks. One time payment, full game. 5 stars.

it's not the greatest but still fun, I feel it's optional because there are better games like Catan that you can play, not the most refined game, but not the worst, because while there may be some bugs here and there it still actually gives gameplay, it's better with real people but no many play so that's something because the AI's are trash or completely op. -3 stars.

I've been playing Catan for about 4-5 years. I mostly like this app and have started using it to play with friends that live far away. I even paid for the 5-6 player expansion map. It's worth it for me. But the app has been really buggy lately. Today I lagged out of for different games and was only able to reconnect once. I even ended up losing a karma point for at least one of the games I lagged out of! Please fix the bugs.
