Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

Probably one of the best games I've played in a long while! The mechanics seem simple at first glance, but the devs make use of them in creative ways that keep the game feeling fresh with every run. I'm playing the demo mode at the moment, which only goes up to fight 12 (instead of 20) each run and locks off the alternate modes, however there are no ads/pay2win which is a rare sight in modern games. I will be purchasing the full version when I have the money! 10/10 would recommend! Very fun

Fantastic roguelike battler that scratches the same itch StS does. Clearly made with love and attention by the devs and it's still getting pretty big content updates periodically. I must have poured hundreds of hours into this game now and I'm still finding new items, baddies and heroes. Depending on the game mode you can get some pretty OP builds if you like that sort of thing, but it's not guaranteed and won't help you in other game modes, of which there are dozens. Perfection IMO.

Really unique, varied and fun game. Worth the price, generous free demo. Gameplay forces you to recontextualise and reassess constantly. Have had one crash in my playtime. Update March 2025: I wish there was some way for me to give this game an extra star. A bunch of new content added and tweaks and changes made. I cannot recommend this game enough. If you're even considering trying it, I hope this review is enough to convince you.
