Grim Quest tries to blend tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Quest can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.

Grim Quest is a single player game and can be played offline. It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just a few unobtrusive and removable ads, and completely optional in-app purchases, for those who wish to support the game and its development.

Ratings and reviews

I never write reviews unless the game is well deserving of it! This game is basic, but great for offline, good story, good random events, fighting mechanics are like card strategy. I'm very content, so if your looking for good offline game that requires no money, that's absolutely free this is it. You can watch adds to get a few more coins but not necessary.

Edit 2: I have beaten the Prince of Thieves, but seen no option to respec. Do you mean the second boss, orc chieftain, maybe? Edit: That was, in fact, the issue. Totally on me for not reading to the end of the description. That said, a respec option would be great as I was still learning the game and shouldn't have to live with that misplaced skill slot or else restart. I HAVE restarted my gun boy, at this point, but that means replaying the basics and my first character is dead to me lol

It's not the best of the best but a really good of its kind, can't wait for omens. what I think about sometimes is what if you could play with others or if there were different races, to choose from which have special perks and abilities:) also add more and better gear like mage or combat equipment that are frequent and have high stats there isn't much of that.
