Speaking Timer adds configurable voice guidance to timers, stopwatches and alarms. Combine names, time and your own words to create the guidance that suits your routine.

• Sessions paused because headphones were disconnected can resume on reconnection when enabled; manually paused sessions are excluded.
• Silence Speaking Timer's timer, stopwatch and alarm sounds and speech for a duration you choose.
• Vibration is a separate choice, and silence ends when the chosen duration expires.

Ratings and reviews

I need a count down timer with a voice to use while doing interval exercise training. I checked 12 apps and this is the best one I have found. But it doesn't allow you to set for a number of intervals. Also it doesn't allow you to set a rest period between intervals. But there are workarounds. You can simply add the rest time to your overall interval duration. Also you can use a separate stopwatch or countdown app to count the number of intervals.

I'm sorry. I take a hard pass on this one. I was hoping for the ability to set up interval timbers that run one right after another with the app speaking the title of the river loudly when said timer begins. unfortunately this is just a countdown timer that reads off "20 seconds remaining" on a single timer at a time. no sequencing chore timers in order to maximize efficiency here. And it's an ugly app. Sorry guys.

Down loaded yesterday. Started out great until I discovered that the voice notification function is spotty. Sometimes it works as advertised and out counts down the time at the specified interval, which allows me to prep for a finishing event. And then other times it goes silent and I have no warning that I'm approaching the designated end time unless I'm looking at the screen.
