About this app

SecureApps is a private vault for your app shortcuts and personal files, protected by biometric or PIN authentication. Disguise it on your home screen with one of 10 icon themes — each bundled with its own name — so nothing on
your launcher hints at what's inside.

KEY FEATURES

• Biometric + PIN unlock — open with your fingerprint, fall back to a 4-6 digit PIN
• App shortcuts — pick from your installed apps and launch them from inside the vault
• Files — copy any file from your device into the vault and open it with the system viewer
• Two tabs — apps and files stay in separate sections
• Grid or list view, with small / medium / large icon density
• Drag-to-reorder — long-press any tile and arrange to taste
• Disguised launcher icon + name — 10 themes (AppLock, Biometrix, Securex, Accexx, Knoxx, VaultX, Enigmo, AdminX, EyeQ, ArmorLok). Picking a theme updates both the icon AND the label on your home screen
• Auto-close on launch — opening anything from the vault closes the app and removes it from Recents, so the unlocked view is never left behind

HOW IT WORKS

1. First launch: pick an icon, choose Biometric+PIN or PIN-only, set your PIN
2. Every launch after that: biometric prompt (or PIN screen) appears immediately
3. After unlock: the vault opens straight to your apps and files — no folder lists, no extra screens
4. Settings: change icon + name, change PIN, switch view mode, reset everything

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO (transparency)

• Files are stored in app-private storage but are NOT encrypted on disk. The vault hides them from your gallery and file browser and gates the view behind your PIN, but a rooted device or an unrestricted backup could still
read them.
• Adding an app shortcut does not hide the original app icon from your app drawer. If you want full concealment, hide the original icon via your launcher's long-press menu.
• No internet, no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.

• USE_BIOMETRIC — for biometric unlock
• Query installed apps (LAUNCHER intent) — so we can show your app list when you add a shortcut
