Has improved over the years. However, it does not recognize my OTG USB device that works just fine on my tablets included file manager! I've been using ASTRO for a very long time (years), and this is a first. I use a ZENPAD 3s, (ASUS) and am shocked at this ASTRO defect. My device recognizes the USB flash drive and reports it as mounted, but ASTRO doesn't have a clue. Android 7.0. Same issue under Android 6.x Very Disappointing.
I loved this app and thought no other file manager compared, particularly on my tablet, but the new version rendered some of my favorite functionalities useless. I can no longer share files via Bluetooth, I miss the sidebar with my favorite locations and it limited my file sharing abilities greatly. Not using it like this.
Overall, probably the best file manager app for Android. Recent versions have begun to feel a bit bloated and slow (especially the splash/startup screen!), but not quite to the point where I want to switch back to something like Adao or Ghost Commander. Great app, but they need to stop loading it down with so much garbage that it takes 10+ seconds to load.
I have no idea how to use this app. I open it and all you see is the logo. Nothing... nothing at all to click on. Pretty much a waste of memory/space. So now today, three days later, it seems to be working. I am wary as to whether it will be working tomorrow, though. Is this a sporadic event?
