Congress Trade Alerts tracks the stock transactions that members of the US House and Senate disclose under the STOCK Act. Get trade alerts when new filings appear, search and filter by member or company, and open the original government disclosure behind a newly filed trade.

Built as a Congress stock tracker for journalists, researchers, and civic-engaged citizens who want politician stock trades in one legible place, with the primary source one tap away on new filings.

Data sources
The app tracks the disclosures members file with:
- US House Clerk Periodic Transaction Reports (PTR): https://disclosures-clerk.house.gov
- US Senate Office of Public Records (Senate EFD): https://efdsearch.senate.gov/search/
- House filings checked every 30 minutes; Senate every six hours
- Trades appear in the feed once a filing is at least 24 hours old

Privacy
- No account required -- no name, email, or password, ever
- No analytics, no ads, no third-party tracking SDKs
- To deliver the alerts you ask for, the app stores an anonymous device push token and the members and tickers you choose to follow -- not your name, email, or anything that identifies you personally
- Turn off notifications in the app to delete everything tied to your device, anytime

This app is not affiliated with the United States government or with any member of Congress. All data comes from public records that members of Congress are required by law to file under the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act of 2012.

What’s new

Accuracy pass on how the app describes itself.

Removed wording that implied filings arrive in real time. The timing is now stated plainly: we check the House portal about every 30 minutes and the Senate portal about every six hours, and the feed shows filings once they are at least 24 hours old.

Corrected the press and methodology pages to match, and reworded the not-yet-available Pro section.

No change to data sources, permissions, or privacy.
