About this app

NotiPilot is a free app that applies your own rules to the notifications on your Android phone. Pick the apps, say what to look for, and choose what happens: clear the noise, sound an alarm for what matters or read a message aloud.

NEEDS NOTIFICATION ACCESS
NotiPilot only works if you give it Notification Access in Android Settings. Android treats this as a special permission and warns you about it. NotiPilot uses it to read the app name, title, text and sender of each notification on your phone, check them against your rules and act on that one notification. The app walks you through turning it on, and you can turn it off again at any time in Android Settings.

WHAT A RULE CAN MATCH
- Text: words in the title, the message or the sender's name. Contains, exact match or regular expression, and the opposite of each.
- Time: before, after or between times of day. You can also limit a whole rule to the hours and days you pick.
- Sender: people on a list you write, or everyone who is not on it.
- Importance: higher than, lower than or equal to a level that Android gives the notification.
- Apps: one app, several apps or any app, with an optional notification channel filter.
A rule can require every condition to match, or just one of them.

WHAT A RULE CAN DO
- Dismiss or snooze the notification.
- Show only: keep the notifications that match and dismiss the rest from that app.
- Alarm: play an alert sound that can take your phone off silent.
- Vibration: presets such as heartbeat, SOS and pulse, or a pattern of your own.
- Custom sound, or Silent.
- Flashlight: blink the torch a set number of times.
- Speak aloud: read the title and message with text-to-speech.
- Copy: copy the message, or only the part a pattern picks out.
- Remind: alert you again every few minutes, up to a limit you set.
- Cooldown: leave an app's later notifications alone for a while.
- Auto reply: send a saved reply through the notification's own reply button.
Add several actions to one rule and they run in the order you set.

START FROM A TEMPLATE
Ready-made rules: Urgent Alerts, Batch Overnight, Silence Spam, VIP Contacts and Focus Mode, plus OTP Auto-Copy on Android 13 and 14 (Android 15 and newer hide one-time codes from apps, so it is not offered there). Pick the apps and adjust anything before you save.

STAY IN CONTROL
- Rule groups: switch a whole group of rules at once.
- Quick Settings tile: switch all rules, one group or one rule from the notification shade.
- Home screen widgets and pinned shortcuts for your rules.
- History: see which notifications matched, start a new rule from one, and test a rule against recent notifications.
- Import and export your rules as a JSON file.

PRIVACY
- No account, no ads and no analytics SDK.
- Rules run on your phone. NotiPilot does not upload your notifications.
- NotiPilot keeps a history of notifications (app, title and text) on your phone, 7 days by default. You can change that, keep only the ones your rules handled, or clear it in Settings.
- One security library, Talsec freeRASP, sends security diagnostics to Talsec (which calls them anonymous), including your IP address. It never receives your notifications.

GOOD TO KNOW
- Needs Android 13 or newer.
- Alarms play on the media stream, so they follow your media volume. Do Not Disturb can still block them.
- Auto reply only works with notifications that offer a reply box or a matching button.
- Ongoing notifications, such as a music player, cannot be removed for good. Dismiss snoozes them for 7 days instead.
- NotiPilot does not turn Do Not Disturb on or off and does not change other apps' notification settings.
