Every brand runs differently.
The same size 110 is snug at one brand and roomy at another. Standing in the shop you try to remember what size your child wore in this brand, give up, and guess.
Kids Clothing Sizes keeps a note of the brand, the size and how each piece actually fitted, then tells you the size to buy when you try a brand for the first time.
■ Note it brand by brand
Sort by tops, bottoms, outerwear, dresses and bodysuits, shoes, hats and socks.
Write the size the way the label prints it: KR number, months, cm, US/EU or mm.
Pick one of four fits after your child wears it: too small, just right, some room, too big. That one tap is what makes the next suggestion accurate.
You can attach a photo of the label as well.
■ Get the size for a brand you have not tried
Pick a brand and the app works out from your notes how much larger or smaller it runs, then adjusts.
For a brand with no notes it answers from your child's height and the standard chart.
It shows you why: "this brand runs about 3cm small", so you can judge the suggestion yourself.
Shoes are worked out separately, from foot length in mm plus growing room.
■ See when the next size is due
Note a height twice and the app has your child's own growth rate.
It tells you the timing in advance: "the current size looks like it will get tight in about 9 weeks".
When there are few measurements it fills the gap with a standard growth curve.
■ Reminders only when they help
Size change : before the current size gets tight
Season prep : before the next season, in the size that will fit by then
Daily note : once a day at a time you choose
Each kind can be turned off on its own, and you set the time.
