About this app

You know the photo. You reach for the shutter, and by the time your finger lands the smile has already gone.

SmileShot watches your face and fires the shutter on its own the moment you smile for real. No stretching for a button, no standing frozen while a timer counts down.

[ How it works ]

1. Open the app and look at the screen
2. Smile, or show a V-sign
3. The shutter ring fills, the countdown ends, and the photo is taken

Changed your mind? Make a fist and the countdown cancels straight away.

[ Features ]

Smile detection
SmileShot reads your expression in real time and captures the moment your smile crosses the threshold. Sensitivity has three steps: low, medium and high. Set it so a small grin is enough, or so it waits for a wide open smile.

Gesture detection
A V-sign or a thumbs up works too. Handy when you are standing well back from the camera, or lining up a group shot.

Shutter ring
The shutter button is the gauge. The ring fills as your smile gets closer to the threshold, then turns into a countdown just before the capture. You can see exactly when the photo is coming and get your face ready.

Countdown and burst
Set the delay anywhere from 0.5 to 3 seconds. Take 1, 3 or 5 shots in a row.

Silent shutter
Capture with no shutter sound, for quiet rooms.

Gallery
Look through your photos inside the app. Filter by smile, gesture or manual, then share or delete.

Watermark
Add a watermark to saved photos, or leave it off.

Daily reminder
A nudge at the time you choose. It starts at 11:00 AM, and you can move it or switch it off.

Light and dark
Follow the system theme, or pick one yourself.

Front and rear camera
Auto capture works for selfies and for everything else. The manual shutter button is always there when you want it.

[ Photos stay on your device ]

Face and hand recognition run entirely on your phone. Camera frames and photos are never sent to a server. Detection and capture keep working with no internet connection at all.

[ Permissions ]

Camera: real-time face and hand detection, and taking photos
Photos and media: viewing your captures in the in-app gallery
Notifications: the daily reminder (optional, and every capture feature still works if you decline)

A real smile is not something you hold. SmileShot waits for it and presses the button for you.
Smile or show a V-sign and the camera takes the shot. No button, no timer.
