corePTT turns your smartphone, POC radio or rugged device into a professional push-to-talk (PTT) communicator. Reach your entire team instantly, with a single press, anywhere you have a data connection.

Accessibility Service usage:
corePTT uses Android's Accessibility Service for a single purpose: to detect the physical PTT (Push-To-Talk), channel and SOS hardware buttons on your radio while the screen is off or the app is running in the background, letting you transmit without unlocking the device — the core workflow expected on a PTT radio. The service only listens for these hardware key events. It does NOT read or inspect screen content, does NOT record or process audio, and does NOT collect, store or share any personal data. An in-app disclosure explains this before you enable it, and you can disable the service at any time via Android Settings → Accessibility.

What’s new

• QR code activation: point the camera at the code in your activation e-mail and the radio sets itself up — no server, user or password to type.
• You choose the radio's password during activation.
• You can now change your password from inside the app, under Settings.
• The saved password is no longer pre-filled on the login screen.
