This is the Android companion app for the Tempo Studio.

Update: app is not usable with casting. I'm able to cast it once and select a device. after that, it no longer gives me any pop-up to select a device and it doesn't even show the video anymore, only audio. Resetting the app didn't work either. No option for retrying the cast as well as they mention in their support page.

I had an issue with taking classes in the app before the machine arrived, but it didn't matter once the machine arrived. The app is easy to navigate and it's easy to change preferences or get a preview of upcoming classes. I have occasional funny bugs, like once it said I had completed 32 classes this week (when I had only completed 2) or it said every day of the week was a rest day (when I had 4 active days), but closing the app and reopening resolves the issues. Overall a pretty useful app.

Tempo is circling the drain sadly. Bad hardware and software decisions lead to Android or web being completely left out. The studio kits use the kinect camera which MS has discontinued. There's no reason for this and the competition knows it. Peloton Guide is a simpler, cheaper, less space consuming product that does the basics of what this can do. Don't buy this. Love the trainers, many came from Barry's Boot camp in SF. Thank you for 3 years, 400 classes. Hope I run into you all again.
