Ratings and reviews

English language version of Coupang Eats is great to use, with a relatively intuitive UI interface. It opened entire new eating options for lunch during work and when short on time for dinner. Loses a star because I think setting up (including linking your payment options) would be difficult if you didn't speak Korean or have a native Korean speaker to help you. Also, English translation of menus is not complete across all listings.

Inaccurate delivery time estimates. They'll tell you 30 minutes before you order, then update it to 60 or 80 minutes after. They also allow the restaurants to suppress/delete negative reviews. It's impossible to distinguish good restaurants from bad ones because of this. Some truly awful places have 4.9/5 star averages. It's not worth the free delivery.

Very convenient if you live in Korea, have a Korean bank account and phone, and can read Korean. If you are in Korea on holiday, it's useless. NO PAYPAL!!! You also need to translate almost everything, as there are no language options. Only for residents, not user friendly for tourists or non-Koreans. Edit: the company offers a copypasta bs response but doesn't actually do anything.
