- Coway products supports only 2.4 GHz of Wi-Fi (5 GHz is not supported).
: If the router provides both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz is disabled, make sure to enable 2.4 GHz in the router’s setting.

Ratings and reviews

Invasive permissions required to use app. The app should NOT NEED THESE INVASIVE PERMISSIONS TO OPERATE an air purifier. 2 star because the app actually operates as intended. I got it to work without the permissions but now they are being persistent for me to turn them on... over aggressively. I used to be able to use the app w/out the invasive permissions. Now, the app will not advance to my required menu without invasive permissions turned on all the time. Good thing I can still return it

Dysfunctional app that doesn't work correctly from the start. It has a setting to link your account from Google, and when you select this it then asks you to enter user ID and password for their site. Very suspicious. It won't connect to my Wi-Fi after more than a half dozen tries. Finally it wants access to your photos and files, notifications and to be able to make calls or you can't use the app. These are some major privacy violations and I recommend uninstalling this app immediately.

This app is terrible. Constantly needing to log in, unlike any other app that I use. So to change control, you must constantly: Click on app icon. Log in. Click on your SSO, click on your SSO user, await authentication and occasionally get prompted to change the password of your SSO every 30 days or so. (then click on control and what you intend to do such as adjust fan speed) I get security but its very frustrating, and no other smart device forces this runaround.
