About this game
Wallkeep is a castle defense game in landscape: the castle stands on the left, the enemies march in from the right, and every wave you survive makes you stronger.
HOW IT WORKS
Between waves you spend your gold: upgrade the castle (health, mana and new balconies), upgrade the town archers (up to 20 archers on the walls) and hire heroes. Then press BATTLE and watch your defenses fight. Every 10th wave brings a boss.
12 HEROES, 9 BALCONIES
Archer, Ice Mage, Fire Mage, Lightning Mage, Priest, Knight, Bard, Necromancer, Ogre, Huntress, Alchemist and Angel. Each hero attacks by himself and has a skill that costs mana: freeze the whole field, drop a meteor, bless the archers, summon footmen to block the gate, raise skeletons, shield the castle. Choosing which nine heroes to put on the balconies is the real strategy.
DAMAGE TYPES THAT MATTER
Stone trolls shrug off physical damage, wraiths fear holy light, flying enemies ignore your footmen. Mix physical, fire, ice, lightning, holy and dark damage to beat every wave.
IDLE GOLD AND MISSIONS
The gold mine keeps producing while the game is closed (up to 8 hours). Missions reward gems, and gems unlock special heroes. Player levels give skill points for permanent bonuses.
MORE WAYS TO PLAY
Colonies map: conquer 15 enemy towns for bonuses that last forever. Dragon lairs: defeat three dragons, level after level, and collect 12 treasures. Hell mode: an endless, much harder run with a curse on every wave. Weekly events: a new challenge every Monday with gem rewards, plus your records and best weeks on the trophy board.
FAIR BY DESIGN
Everything can be earned by playing. There are no purchases: video ads are optional and always labelled (double gold, repair the castle, extra gems, 30 minutes without ads). Losing a wave keeps half of the gold, so you always progress.

Small download, no account, no internet needed, save code to move your progress to another phone. Available in 16 languages.
