Start with a picture of a label, a part, a letter, or a problem. Ask what it is. Come back and pick up the same thread — model number, parts, next steps — instead of starting over in a pile of unrelated chats.

A real example
Someone photographed the data plate on a refrigerator and wrote: “the ice maker in my refrigerator is not working. What brand is this?”

That one thread stayed on that one problem:
• Identified a Kenmore Coldspot, model 106.51133210
• Named likely causes
• Answered “there is a filter compartment inside the door. Should I replace the filter and how do I do this?”
• Gave the part number (Kenmore 46-9083 / 9083 / 9030) and the twist-out steps
• Answered whether the fridge needs a reset afterward
