About this app

Pathmaker is an educational platform where you can create bespoke curricula around any topic of study. It provides a new approach to self-education by combining structured week-by-week learning paths with Professor Reed, your AI learning coach.

How It Works: Tell Pathmaker what you want to learn, how much time you have, and your preferred learning style. Generate a complete curriculum from scratch or start from a pre-built template. Each curriculum includes week-by-week plans with curated resources, activities, key concepts, and built-in discussion prompts designed for exploration with your AI Coach.

AI Learning Coach: Professor Reed is your 24/7 tutor. Based on the Socratic method, he turns concepts into conversations, helping you think through ideas rather than passively absorbing information. Click any "Ask Coach" button or discussion prompt to instantly chat about what you're learning. Save helpful conversations as searchable Class Notes linked to specific weeks or activities.

Templates & Community: Browse pre-built curriculum templates or explore the public library to discover learning paths created by others. Customize any curriculum by adjusting duration, time commitment, and preferences before saving your personalized version.

Track Progress: Mark weeks and activities complete, add reflections, log study time, and earn achievement badges as you reach milestones. Version history lets you restore previous curriculum versions. Export your complete learning plan as PDF or text file.
