After one hour of trial I knew I was going to upgrade to the full version. While the android version isn't as robust (yet) it's current features are awesome and make it more than worth the small annual subscription cost. The dev is responsive and committed. I wouldn't knit a pattern, esp. one with charts, without kC now!
The idea of this app is wonderful. However, I'm having problems. I sign into my ravlery, when I try to download my patterns by tapping, it does nothing. I successfully downloaded 2, but with alot of delay. Is there a limit on how many patterns you can download? Space shouldn't be a problem, and I have a excellent wifi connection.
Frequently crashes, meaning youre having to restart the app. Very frustrating when trying to double check lace work. If that got fixed it would be a 5 star rating. Unfortunate
This wonderdul little app has replaced my old system of tallies scattered across 42 Post Its and a pile of wrinkled printouts. It's so nice to have everything in one place in my phone, and makes taking my knitting with me a much easier task!
I will never need another knitting app! I love how it integrates Dropbox and Ravelry, and that you can customize the setup and rotate pages. It really has everything I need, and I think the annual payment is completely reasonable for as much as I use this app. One request, for the row/column sliders, it would be helpful to add a numerical size control for the width instead of just a slider control? Every time I think I get it just right, pull my finger back, and it goes all haywire. Love the app, keep up the good work!
I'm finding that this app is not at all intuitive, and find it very annoying that I cannot swipe to the next page of a PDF. When I tried to hit the next arrow, the app crashed. It's actually a pain trying to navigate on it. I also don't like that when it connects to Ravelry, the webpage is blown up and I'm forced to scroll around in all directions. A zoom feature would make getting around there easier. Also, as a crocheter instead of a knitter, the included free patterns are completely useless to me. I want to be able to access patterns on my phone more easily and have access to a row/stitch counter with each project I'm doing, and this just doesn't look like it's going to cut it for me.
