It's okay for now It does not have the capabilities of the iOs so forget about shopping for the ready set up projects for now. I bought the subscription to help support the development because I still have access to my IOS version for everything I really want. If I were just getting this app without knowledge of its potential I would feel I got overcharged for the subscription at this point. Hopefully in the near future it will be more complete. At that point, it will totally seem worth it.
Surprisingly steep learning curve... But after figuring out how to activate the free trial so I could use my PDF's (I think I actually had to Google that), watching some of your video tutorials online, and working on a project with it for a few hours, I love it! The linked counters are especially what I've been looking for in a knitting app. Can't think of much to improve right now... maybe a bigger main counter button? It's pretty small. Looking forward to more updates:)
No help from the maker of the app I filled out 4 help tickets and never got a response. I bought the subscription and can't use it on my tablet only my phone.
Super Helpful This really helps with knitting on the go!
I don't understand the free version... Normally with a free version of an app you can test the app. Not with this one. I can't create one single project without subscribing. To open an pdf stored on my tablet I have to navigate through different folders (because I can't set a specific folder as standard)It takes a long time (every time!) to load the ravelry library and once loaded I can't search for patterns, and there are missing many patterns (I think it only displays the free patterns in my library?!) I wanted to test the app with one specific pattern which I purchased, but it didn't show. I really don't like it when I have to purchase something that I can't test! Seems it's one of the many overrated apps from the apple- fanboys....
Yay for an Android version! I'm really loving the KC app so far. Looking forward to getting more capabilities on it, but it is so worth it as it is now.
* Fix possible crash when returning to the app.
