About this app

Record once. Get both videos.

Creator Cam captures a single take and writes two finished MP4 files at the same time — a landscape 16:9 video for YouTube and a portrait 9:16 video for Shorts, Reels and TikTok. No filming the same piece to camera twice. No cropping it by hand afterwards. Both files are on your phone the moment you press stop.

WHY BOTH VIDEOS LOOK RIGHT

Cropping a portrait clip out of a landscape one leaves a zoomed-in compromise, and everyone can tell. Creator Cam frames each one properly: the landscape video gets the full width of your shot, the portrait video gets the full height. Neither is a cut-down of the other — they look like you filmed them separately.

• Two full-quality 1080p videos, every time
• Quality matched to what your phone's own camera app produces
• Sound in both, in sync, ready to edit the moment you stop
• Selfies record the right way round, never mirrored

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET

The viewfinder shows your portrait framing full-screen and the landscape framing in a floating window you can drag anywhere. Tap it to swap which one fills the screen. Both previews show exactly what is being saved, so nothing surprises you when you open the files.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO SHOOT A LOT

• Pause and resume without ending the take
• Self-timer (3s or 10s), rule-of-thirds grid, tap to focus, pinch to zoom, and 0.5× / 1× / 2× lenses where your phone has them
• Zebra stripes to catch blown highlights and focus peaking to nail focus — on-screen guides only, never saved into your videos
• Exposure slider for when you want to overrule the camera
• Cleaner low light, without the grainy mess
• Plug in a USB or wired microphone and it is picked up automatically, with gain from 0.5× to 2×
• HEVC for smaller files, and 10-bit HDR on supported phones
• Torch, remaining-recording-time readout, overheating protection, and a recording notification so leaving the app never ends your take

YOUR TAKE IS SAFE

Losing footage is the worst thing a camera app can do, so that is where the work went. Both videos are closed out properly the moment you press stop and moved straight into your gallery under DCIM/Creator Cam, sitting alongside everything else you shoot.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

No account. No sign-in. No watermark. No ads. No analytics or tracking of any kind. Creator Cam does not request internet access at all — your footage cannot leave your device through this app.

Requires Android 11 or newer, and camera and microphone permission. Available resolution, HDR and zoom options depend on your device's camera hardware.
One take, two videos: 16:9 and 9:16 recorded at the same time. No watermark.

What’s new

- Hold your phone sideways and both videos now come out the right way up. The landscape video is genuinely wider too — it uses more of the camera sensor rather than just cropping in.
- Zebra stripes and focus peaking are now separate buttons, so you can use both together. Each explains itself when you switch it on — turn that off in Settings › Feature Tips
