If I could give less than 1 star, I would. The old version of the app worked fine. Now I have to allow the app access to my location for it to even open to transfer photos to my phone or computer. My location is none of Sony,'s business and is certainly not necessary to transfer files by NFC, bluetooth, or wifi. Thanks for a worthless product Sony!

Just bad. It's slow, difficult to connect to, and the UI is terrible. But I can deal with all that. What really frustrates me is that despite setting to original quality, all images are <1MB when transferring to phone. I don't always have my computer!

Tip: Disable VPNs on your phone, including DNS filtering! Amending my review because WOW, good support on Sony's side for a weird edge-case bug I was experiencing. The app would crash when I rotated my screen on an Xperia 1 III. I had direct email and phone correspondence with a US-based support contact. Eventually, we discovered it would only happen if the screen size was set to small, and three-button navigation was enabled. Once we found the bug, they resolved it very quickly.
