About this game

The shared chronicle of an island kingdom has been scattered, and every house now trusts only its own heraldic traditions. In Crestcall, you become a travelling herald who must create new emblems that rival families can recognize together. The game is designed for portrait mobile play and clear one-finger control. Drag silhouette stencils onto a shield, then rotate, flip, recolor, and reorder their layers to build a readable crest from moons, antlers, waves, fields, and ceremonial marks.

Every shield comes with a compact brief. A required symbol may need to appear in a specific color. One mark may have to sit above or beside another. A layer limit can restrict an otherwise easy composition, while a house taboo can forbid two shapes from overlapping. Later briefs also test symmetry and total painted coverage. Negative space created by the stencil layers remains visible, shaping how you balance silhouettes and open areas. The live preview and the final Stamp action use the same fixed logical grid, so the visible arrangement, constraint feedback, composition hash, and final judgment stay in agreement across display sizes.

A commission is a short sequence of four shields. When every active rule is satisfied, press Stamp to approve the current crest. Between shields, choose one of three Herald's Articles. Articles can change pigment efficiency, stencil options, the amount of information shown, or the risk and reward of the next design, but they never solve a crest automatically. Efficient work leaves Spare Pigment for the current commission. Signed commissions award persistent Herald Seals, while perfect results can add a Chronicle Leaf that records a crest and its treaty history. The House Ledger presents available commissions, the Chronicle Gallery preserves completed work, and the Commission Report compares rule accuracy, stencil efficiency, pigment use, and conflicts.

Crestcall has no forced energy system and does not sell solutions through random draws. Optional advertising is limited to recovery or reward acceleration, such as daily seals, a controlled retry, an Article redraw, or doubling eligible seals after a result. Ignoring an ad never blocks ordinary progress. Ads do not design a crest and do not reveal an answer. All presented 2D artwork is produced for the real Godot mobile renderer, with the same stencil outlines, masks, palette, and layer order used by gameplay. Crestcall is a structured composition puzzle, not a free-drawing tool, a statement about real-world politics, or an online multiplayer game.
