About this game

Skiplark is a one‑hand vertical adventure game.
Send an enchanted memory stone skipping across a world swallowed by the tide. In Skiplark, only rooftops, bell towers, and weathered harbor masts remain above the flooded islands. Every crossing follows the streets hidden below the water, and every clean skip can wake a fragment of the city that once stood there.

The complete journey fits under one thumb in a portrait layout. Pull backward from the stone opposite the target to set the direction and strength of the first launch, then release to throw. Tap as the stone touches the water to flatten its entry angle and preserve its speed. While it is airborne, swipe left or right to steer toward the next opening. Skiplark is a physical trajectory game, not a fixed rhythm test. Wind direction, entry angle, remaining speed, moving driftwood, reverse waves, reefs, golden ripple targets, and hidden channels all change the next decision. Read the water, commit to a line, and adapt before the next splash.

Each three-to-five-minute route is a chain of buoy segments. Between segments, choose one of three Ripple Boons that meaningfully changes your run. Build around trajectory control, a wider timing window, extra forgiveness, stronger Echo gains, or a risky tradeoff. Echo is a run resource used to redraw Boons or calibrate a trajectory preview. Chart Shards persist between runs and restore branches of the Tide Chart and its landmarks. Memories are permanent story discoveries and are never spent. When a stone sinks, retry immediately without mandatory energy or a waiting timer.

Four island regions hold forty routes, thirty-six drowned landmarks, twenty-four character memories, and legendary final crossings. Daily drifting assignments encourage fresh routes, while the Harbor visibly rebuilds as the islands return. Short labels, readable color and shape coding, and a focused portrait composition keep every obstacle and reward clear. Rewarded ads are optional and limited to convenience such as a buoy resume, a Boon redraw, or extra Chart Shards. Ads never unlock exclusive memories and never interrupt a moving stone. Every successful crossing lifts another piece of the lost city above the water.
