Flip-style foldable phones often lock screen rotation on the external screen, limiting how you can use many apps. CoverSpin solves this problem simply and effectively, allowing the external screen to rotate freely and adapt to any orientation (portrait or landscape), just like your phone's main screen.

Floating Gesture Button
A discreet on-screen button to manually toggle rotation. This button appears temporarily when you rotate your device, and can be permanently enabled or disabled in the settings.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

To provide its core functionality (the recent apps shortcut), CoverSpin requires the use of the Android Accessibility Service API.

How we use it:
We use the Accessibility Service solely to detect when the user unlocks the screen

Why we use it:
The unlock detection is used as a trigger to check rotation action and manage the overlay in coverscreen.

Privacy and security:
CoverSpin does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data. The app does not monitor screen content, log keystrokes, or access notifications. The Accessibility Service is used exclusively to detect the specific unlock event described above.

Works great most of the time. However there are times when I get an error stating "Failed to add gesture button" and can only be fixed with a force close

Phenomenal app. Works flawless on z flip 5. In love with phone again lol must have to change up the phone usage for sure!

cool and quite the qol tool, but for some reason doesn't actually seem to work on my z flip 6
