ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE DISCLOSURE

To provide its core functionality (the recent apps shortcut), RecentApps requires the use of the Android Accessibility Service API.

How we use it:
We use the Accessibility Service solely to detect when the user performs a long-press gesture on the system Home button or on the Gesture Navigation Bar.

Why we use it:
This gesture detection is used as a trigger to perform a standard system action that opens the Recent Applications (Overview) screen, allowing you to switch apps directly from the cover screen.

Privacy and security:
RecentApps does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data. The app does not monitor screen content, log keystrokes, or access notifications. The Accessibility Service is used exclusively to detect the specific navigation gesture described above.
