****UPDATE**** I got it working and firmware is up to date. I have a habit of putting my Switch on airplane mode, after cutting it off it worked out fine, user error. Also I view the video stating it needed to be plugged in. So I added a star, would have been 2, but still has a habit of crashing every once and a while. Besides that, good app!

This app works but there are a few things to keep in mind to limit frustration. I'm working from a Pixel 10, NFC & LOCATION MUST BE ON. When connecting to the CTRL area, the initial setup went smoothly, firmware flashed. After is when the frustration occurs and it no longer connects. UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING AFTER FIRMWARE UPDATE to accept reset near location permissions allows the controller to connect to the app as intended. This troubleshooting is not clearly indicated. Hope this helps!!

Seems the recent update causes fully new guitars to no longer be accessible in the app after an initial firmware update. This will lead to many disappointing experiences for Christmas and unlikely to be addressed until after the holidays
