****UPDATE**** I got it working and firmware is up to date. I have a habit of putting my Switch on airplane mode, after cutting it off it worked out fine, user error. Also I view the video stating it needed to be plugged in. So I added a star, would have been 2, but still has a habit of crashing every once and a while. Besides that, good app!

Connecting the guitar to the app in the first place is complete guess work unless you just have everything enabled on your phone! You must have Bluetooth, NFC, and -Location- on!!! The full user manual is only avalible through this app and the one that comes with the guitar controller only has a quarter of the information of what you can do with the guitar. While still being forced to download this terribly designed app at access the remaining functionality of a video game guitar controller!

Downloaded it to tweak some settings for the $130 guitar I paid for. Updated the firmware now my guitar won't connect to the app and also doesn't work correctly on clone hero anymore. spent two hours trying every trick in the book to get their app to connect again and it simply won't. blows my mind how a controller manufacturer can't get something as simple as Bluetooth right. NEVER buying a CRKD product again.
