Let's you configure everything... awkwardly. it's great that you can change the presents, midi outputs etc for every pad and key, but the interface is painful, especially things like the sliders for selecting pads, or number input boxes that auto-complete to values you don't want. I have managed to use it to set up my SMK-25 II how I want it, but it took hours, and there's no way to back up/restore this config, so I can't easily switch during. Pleas add save/load config from (non-binary) file!

If you are reading this and you just bought a Chocolate device.... RETURN IT. It won't work as advertised ever. These people saw that there was a niche market that had no low entry options and quickly put together a simple machine to ship out of the mainland. Yes, it can send simple commands in default settings but God forbid you ever have to update the firmware. They simply do not care at all to make a usable app. There is no way to program a simple ctrl+z (double key command). DOA

It's incredibly difficult to use but I do like learning hard things. For broke people like myself, the chocolate midi is a good choice. I got the controller under 20 dollars, because that's how much my money here in the third world can afford me. Ppl in this comment section talk bad about the product and the app instead of having the grit of figuring out how to use it. If you're here to complain, just stop and get your hands dirty.
