About this app

Most timer apps run one timer. MultiTimer runs as many as you need, side by side, each counting down on its own with its own alerts, colours and sounds.

Whether you are getting three dishes to the table at the same moment, working an interval session at the gym, timing a study block against a break, or minding several reactions on a bench, you can see every countdown at a glance instead of juggling one timer and hoping you remember the rest.

WHAT IT DOES
• Multiple countdown timers running at the same time — no fixed limit
• Name every timer, so you know which is the pasta and which is the bread
• Up to five alerts per timer, each with its own time, colour, vibration and sound
• The countdown and its progress bar change colour as each alert is reached, so you can read how urgent a timer is from across the room
• Three progress visualisations, chosen per timer: a bar, a bar around the timer, or a full circle
• Tap any timer for a full-screen view with an oversized countdown
• Add time on the fly with +30s, +1m, +5m, or a custom amount
• Drag to reorder; duplicate a timer you use often
• Save and reload whole sets of timers as named configurations
• Floating always-on-top window, so your timers stay visible while you use other apps
• Cast a timer to a second Android device or an attached display — different timers can go to different screens
• Timers keep running when the app is in the background or the screen is off
• Six colour themes plus wallpaper-based dynamic colour, light and dark
• Two high-contrast themes with a colour-blind-safe alert palette

BUILT FOR
• Cooking and baking — several dishes finishing together, proving, resting, roasting
• Workouts and HIIT — work and rest intervals side by side
• Study and focus — a work block and a break block, Pomodoro-style
• Tea and coffee — steeping, brewing, pour-over stages
• Laboratory and darkroom — parallel incubations and exposures
• Classrooms — stations and activities on one screen
• Games and puzzles — a turn clock per player

NO NONSENSE
• No ads
• No account, no sign-in
• No tracking, no data collection
• Works offline — no connection needed to run a timer

ACCESSIBILITY
• Alert colours are carried by the countdown text and the progress bar, and running and finished timers stay distinguishable without relying on colour
• Two high-contrast themes use a colour-blind-safe palette throughout

PERMISSIONS, AND WHY
• Notifications — so a finished timer can reach you
• Vibration — for alerts you have set to vibrate
• Display over other apps — only for the optional floating timer window
• Bluetooth, nearby devices and location — only used to find the second device when you cast a timer to it. Your location is never read, stored or sent.

MultiTimer is a straightforward, native Android app that does one thing well: it runs all your timers at once.
Multiple countdown timers at once — cooking, workouts, study, brewing, lab.
