For an alerts application it has a serious flaw. when I try to get KSC's status it tries to launch the X application. I don't have that app installed. Does that mean I can't use this app to get the current status of the KSC center? isn't that the purpose of this application?

As a NASA contractor I find this very useful since some sites close for bad weather. For example, we had snow last night, it is 28 degrees and will be 8 degrees tonight. Will the site be open for work? Find out with the app. I just wish it was available for my kindle fire so I could check before going to sleep.

Terrible unless you want hundreds of emails that provide zero useful information. Do not give them your email. There is no option to unsubscribe.
