Chat Viewer turns your exported chat backups into a beautiful, familiar conversation screen. Import the ZIP you exported from WhatsApp — or the JSON exports from Telegram, Facebook Messenger and Instagram — and read everything exactly the way it was written, complete with photos, videos, voice notes and documents. Everything works fully offline: your chats are read from the file you pick and never leave your phone.

MULTI-PLATFORM SUPPORT
Import chat exports from WhatsApp (Android and iPhone), Telegram Desktop (JSON), Facebook Messenger and Instagram (JSON downloads). Chat Viewer detects the platform automatically, shows a source badge on every chat, and picks up the real conversation title from inside the export.

FAMILIAR CHAT DISPLAY
Group and individual conversations appear in a clean, WhatsApp-style layout with date separators, sender names in distinct colors, timestamps, clickable links, emoji, and deleted-message and omitted-media indicators — the original context of your conversation, preserved. Choose who "you" are once and the app remembers it.

ALL YOUR MEDIA
Photos open full screen, videos play with scrubbing, voice notes play with a live waveform and progress, and PDFs or other documents open in your favorite app. A dedicated Media Gallery collects every photo, video and document from a chat into tidy tabs.

POWERFUL SEARCH AND NAVIGATION
Search any word and jump between highlighted matches with a live "3 of 17" counter. Jump straight to any day with the calendar picker, or filter a group chat to read messages from selected members only.

CHAT STATISTICS
See who talks the most, messages per member, media counts, the busiest weekday and hour, and the full date range of the conversation — computed instantly when the chat opens.
