Arxivist turns arXiv's daily firehose of new papers into a personalized, ranked feed — entirely on your device.

HOW IT WORKS
• Tell Arxivist who you are — search your own arXiv publications, describe your research interests in your own words, or just pick subject areas to explore.
• Every day, Arxivist fetches the latest papers in your chosen categories and ranks them by how closely they match your interests, using an on-device machine learning model (no data ever leaves your phone).
• Bookmark papers to refine your feed over time — your saved papers quietly improve future rankings.

FEATURES
• Daily Focus feed — a ranked "More for you" list plus a top-picks carousel, with match-quality badges (High / Mid / Low) so you know why a paper is surfaced.
• Cross-category discovery — Arxivist notices when papers outside your selected categories consistently match your interests, and offers to add that category.
• Full-text readable abstracts — LaTeX notation (Greek letters, subscripts, math symbols) is automatically converted to readable Unicode.
• Read on arXiv's HTML reader when available, or fall back to the PDF.
• 14 days of paper history — navigate back through any recent day, not just today.
• Saved papers with sort by recency or relevance.

PRIVACY FIRST
• No account, no ads, no tracking, no server. Your research profile and reading history stay on your device. Network requests only go to arXiv's own public APIs to fetch paper metadata.
