About this game
Fléchix is a French crossword puzzle game designed as a journey, not a daily puzzle. You progress, you don't start over.
360 Puzzles, 12 Chapters
Each chapter has its own unique setting and level of difficulty. You start with an 8-column grid and the most common words; you finish with 14 columns, with a vocabulary four times larger. The difficulty increases through the size of the grid and the expansion of the vocabulary, never through randomly chosen rare words.
180 Free Levels
The first six chapters are free, with no time limit. Chapters 7 through 12 are included in the Fléchix Plus subscription.
Three Stars to Earn
Finish a puzzle without a hint and you get them all. Otherwise, you'll have to come back. Each completed puzzle earns you coins, which can be used to buy a hint when a word proves difficult.

Your account saves your stars, coins, and current puzzles. Start on your phone, continue on your computer: the game picks up right where you left off.
RELIABLE DEFINITIONS
The puzzles are built using the Lexicon 3.83 dictionary and definitions from Wiktionary, distributed under a CC BY-SA license. Each definition is checked to ensure it never contains the word you're looking for or its root.
