The Moon phase image is drawn with high accuracy for any date and time. All data is calculated based on user's location (geographic coordinates) and a specified point in time.

Ratings and reviews

Despite it's odd name, this app - or at least the app itself - is great. It not only details the phases of the moon, but provides information about all the planets in our solar system, virtually ever celestial event of interest and how all the bodies in our solar system interact with each other. What's missing is an assortment of widgets to make the information I'm interested readily available during my 7-15 mile predawn speedwalks. Please add them!

I don't take the time to rate apps. Ever. But this one absolutely deserves it! Generally speaking, when you get an app like this,The options available are rarely unaccompanied by an incessant string of ads. even then, the free options usually have a boring range of choices that vary from being able to see the planets' projected path, to when the moon will be full again. Thank you! I think I might have to donate to this one, will update after I've had it for a little bit!

Good way to track moon phases and rising and setting times. Really nice widget! Easy to use. Many other great features allowing you to see how all the planets are placed in the sky. Also you can 'time travel' back into the past and forward to the future. No ads. I occasionally donate anonymously using PayPal Thanks for such a great app. It's exactly what I was looking for.
