About this app

The new CoolCloud HVAC 2.0 application allows contractors to connect and communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth with Goodman and Amana premium air handler and furnace control boards. This provides a more efficient means for servicing and maintaining equipment, making configuration adjustments, gaining equipment status, performing diagnostics, viewing fault code history and ultimately simplifying the technician’s ability to ensure energy-efficiency and reliable performance.

Ratings and reviews

We have a control board to install and this app is REQUIRED for the install. Two of us downloaded it and app would not open. Now, we have a very expensive part, a cold customer, lengthy waits for tech help. Even if it did open and function properly- we simply do not have time to be on hold OR wait for a return call while our cold customer awaits. Recommending this app or not recommending is not an option because it is required for part installation. Hard to believe!

It does let you adjust some settings but it unpairs you from the device making you have to go take the cover off of your unit again. It won't pair through the thermostat. I'm really hating Amana and Daikin. you pay $10,000 for a system that becomes a pain in the butt and you can't even turn off basic functions without calling it HVAC tech who has to bring a computer. meanwhile, I've burned thousands of dollars in propane.

Awful app for Goodman and Amana Heatpump and ACs - gets stuck at "4 Ton" unit but it's a actually a 2 Ton Heat Pump. Set it manually on the inside unit control board without the app but then the app over-rode it back to 4 Ton and kept the fan speed 50% higher than normal. Screen goes blank or grey sometimes. I've never seen a worse app and it's required for these communicating units. Is this app just a joke?
