Now it works again! :) After OnePlus One update to Lollipop-based version, the settings menu flickered a lot and was very hard to use (this was a few weeks ago, March or April 2015). But after I updated Android WebView (a system app) just this week, it works perfectly again. Great app, thank you providing it free!
Drains Battery Life The app would be great if it didn't drain out the life of my battery. I'd say I use my s5 about as much as any average person would use their phone, and the battery life on 1 charge alone lasts all day. This app drains the battery, and mind you, WITH IT HOOKED ON THE CHARGING OUTLET IN MY CAR in 30 minutes. 45 minutes max. It's become an inconvenience rather than an aid. I'm looking forward to uninstalling the app for something better. I'll probably have to cave in and just buy a dash cam.
Works well at first, but won't save video files to an ext microSD drive, comes up with cryptic error messages about can't create folders (whether they have been created in advance or not), changing codecs etc. If this problem is addressed, then it is an excellent product that just means some minor tweaks. Eg, to delete files manually you need to select settings>files>settings> gallery, then select the files to be deleted, then delete them. Very clunky but could be very good, the basic ideas are there. ____________________________________________________________________ Ok, I did what you suggested and it worked well, except that 'Gallery' does not see the recorded files now though 'Files' does. 'Gallery' is the only way in the app to do bulk deletions, only deletion of single files or whole folders can be done in 'Files'. What is the point of having 'Files" and 'Gallery' anyway? Great app though, I have upgraded my rating. Just needs the whole 'Files'/'Gallery' issue sorted out (or explained). Thanks for such a quick response to my comment. ________________________________________________________________________ Great, thank you
Simply the best! I am using this app along with my newsmy nu3001 android car stereo and webcam. This works flawlessly and may be an absolute lifesaver if ever in an accident. I can't say enough about how much i love the intuitive design and features. I will definitely donate to the developer for this!
Worked For Me Not had any problems. Great to able to save files to be used as evidence. Samsung galaxy mega 6.3. Latest upgrade cause 'video encoder or resolution error'. Model and I have tried all 3 settings, All result in same error message as before.
Since I have installed this app, I have had several instances of text messages not coming through, voice mails coming through 12 plus hours later. There have also been a number of random reboots of the phone while the app is running. The missing texts and VM come through after the reboot. I am going to un-install it and try a different app to see if I have similar issues or if they go away. Other than those issues, it seems to work fairly well. Galaxy Note 3.
