About this app

Recording road videos since 2009, DailyRoads Voyager works as a car blackbox, dash cam or auto DVR, continuously capturing videos and photos during your journeys. The app automatically records everything, but only important events are retained for future reference or as evidence. You get to choose what to keep, simply by touching the screen, even while you drive.

The video evidence can be invaluable in case of accidents, insurance fraud, police abuse, protection from crash-for-cash scams and differences of opinion with other drivers.

Brilliant app, one big problem for me, after I load the app for the first time and allow it to access to the relevant areas I used it and it was brilliant. Next day I came to use it again and when I click the app icon the app just loads into the temp files screen where the videos are stored ??? There's not a button to go to the main video screen , so I am stuck on this page. I tried closing the app, resetting cache on app and nothing worked until I deleted app data. This resets the app tho.

Been using the app for years and was happy with it until I started using a phone with decent night vision. Opening the app at night shows a view that I expect from my camera, but starting video recording causes the image to become mostly black (only pinpoints of light visible)! Have tried different app settings with no obvious effect! Also, if using a memory card, make sure the card is inserted and working before starting the app otherwise it forgets your stored videos! I lost access to 6GB!

This could be five stars, but it took a little while to set up to my liking, but my biggest gripe is that it sometimes starts up without my asking. In fact, even while writing this review, it has started up seven times. This has a detrimental effect on my battery. I do like that it works well in the back ground, but I dislike file management - it's not possible to multiple select. If it is, I don't know how. I may still uninstall and try something else yet.
