Learn to dance in XR with world-class instructors, an AI dance partner, and real-time motion feedback.
Designed for complete beginners, The New Salsa Academy helps you learn the basic steps and techniques of linear salsa “on 1”. Put on your XR headset and, just like in a real dance studio, learn from master instructors Rodrigo Cortazar and Asya Sonina (in English), dance with a virtual partner that can lead or follow you, and receive instant feedback through a state-of-the-art motion analysis system.
What You’ll Do
• Learn to dance salsa in VR and XR - the fundamentals of linear salsa (“on 1”) also known as cross-body salsa - from the ground up.
• Practice timing, footwork, partnerwork, and body movement with guided dance lessons, while improving your fitness.
• Dance solo or in couples dancing with an AI-powered partner that can lead or follow you in what feels like a music and rhythm game,
• Train in AR (augmented reality) using passthrough (Extended Reality) mode, seeing your real body and space while dancing
