The timer keeps running when your screen locks. Music keeps playing in the background. Audio cues announce every transition so you can leave your phone face down on the bench and just train. If you are in a shared gym or wearing headphones, haptic pulses do the same job silently. The countdown is big enough to read from across a rack, and the color of the block tells you whether you are working or resting before you have even registered the number.
