Dangjjak is an app for people with diabetes that allows you to monitor your daily blood sugar levels. It doesn't just show numbers; it explains why those numbers occurred, along with the meals you ate.
[Suitable for These People]
- Those who use a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) but don't know what to do even after looking at the graphs.
- Those who want to know how much their blood sugar rises based on their own body's standards after eating certain foods.
- Those who got tired of using tracking apps for a few days.
[Home: My Current Blood Sugar]
Once you connect the sensor, your current blood sugar and trends are displayed as soon as you open the app. It notifies you first via alerts when your blood sugar rises rapidly or drops too low. You can also view steps and sleep data collected by Samsung Health or Galaxy Watch on the same screen.
[Record: One Photo]
When you take a photo of a meal, it identifies the food and portion size and automatically stitches together how your blood sugar fluctuated after eating. There is no typing or searching required. If you select an item from your album, the time the photo was taken is automatically entered as the time you ate.
[Encyclopedia: My Body's Food Dictionary]
The more you eat the same food, the more cards accumulate. You can see how much your blood sugar rises after eating kimchi stew or if it remains surprisingly gradual after eating kalguksu, all based on your own records rather than others' averages. You can even preview expected reactions before eating.
[Report: A single sheet to take to the hospital]
It summarizes the percentage of times your blood sugar stayed within the target range over the week and the times when it spiked. It also helps you prepare questions to ask before your appointment.
[Dangjjak: Learn while raising, and receive gifts when you raise it]
If you skip meals and make sure to take your medication, Dangjjak grows. Feed it, take it for walks, and collect health knowledge cards one by one; as the recorded days accumulate, a real gift arrives in your gift box. It’s not just a solitary management task, but a friend that grows with you.
[Things you can connect]
- CareSense Air, Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitor
- Steps, sleep, and blood sugar records collected in Samsung Health and Health Connect
- You can request a new sensor via the app once the current one runs out
[Things Dangjjak does not do]
- It does not diagnose, prescribe, or adjust medication or insulin dosages. That is the doctor's domain. - We do not evaluate you based on scores, ratings, or alert sounds.
- We do not compare you to others. We only look at the version of you from yesterday and the version of you from today.
[Permissions Guide]
- Camera, Photos: When taking photos of meals or selecting from your album.
- Microphone: When recording voice. Recordings are converted to text and immediately deleted; they are not saved.
- Health Connect: Only reads steps, sleep, and blood sugar. It does not edit data.
- Notifications: Notifies you of blood sugar changes and the arrival of reports.
