Voice-powered task management

Create, reschedule, and edit tasks by speaking. dayGLANCE supports your choice of AI provider: bring your own API key for OpenAI or Anthropic, or run everything locally with Ollama. No AI backend is operated by dayGLANCE.

Cloud sync on your terms

Optional cloud sync and remote backup encrypt your data client-side before it ever leaves your device. AES-256-GCM encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation means the server sees only ciphertext. Zero-knowledge by design.

Connects to other GLANCE apps

dayGLANCE can talk to lastGLANCE (and other GLANCE apps as they ship) through GLANCEintents — a cross-app protocol that flows through your own WebDAV server, not ours. Send a chore from lastGLANCE to your dayGLANCE timeline; complete it in dayGLANCE and lastGLANCE knows. Optional end-to-end encryption keyed to your sync passphrase. No GLANCE Apps account, no GLANCE Apps servers, no telemetry. Off by default.

Self-hostable and open

dayGLANCE is open source and self-hostable via Docker. Run it entirely on your own infrastructure, or use the hosted version at dayglance.app. Either way, your data stays yours.

What’s new

Bug fixes in this release:
• Assigning people to project tasks now saves properly.
• On tablets, rotating to landscape now shows the full two-column timeline instead of getting stuck in list view. (List view remains available in portrait.)
