About this app

lastGLANCE is for the recurring, never-really-finished stuff that's easy to forget: When did you last water the plants? Change the sheets? Clean the litter box? Go to the dentist? Call your mom?

lastGLANCE answers those questions by showing you, at a glance, when you last did the things that matter.

No accounts. No analytics. Your chores and other tracked items stay on your device and only leave it when you choose.

lastGLANCE requires a subscription or one-time lifetime unlock to use. A 7-day free trial is included. After that, subscribe or buy the lifetime unlock. Cancel anytime in your Google Play account settings.

You can give each chore a rough cadence (every 7 days, every 3 months, whatever fits) and the card eases from green toward red as time passes:
• Green: done recently
• Amber: coming due soon
• Red: overdue
One look tells you what needs attention and what you can happily ignore.

HOW IT WORKS
• Add the things you do regularly and group them into categories.
• Tap a chore the moment you do it, that's the interaction.
• Watch the colors. Do the red ones. Repeat.

BUILT FOR ANDROID
• Home-screen widgets: a contribution-style activity heatmap, a "due soon" list, and single-chore tiles (each with one-tap Done).
• Quick Settings tiles and long-press app shortcuts for adding a chore, jumping to what's due, and your most-overdue items.
• Overdue notifications you can clear with a single "Done".
• Share a link or note from any app to spin it into a new chore.
• Light and dark themes.

POWER-UPS

• Cloud sync on your terms: Optional cloud sync and remote backup encrypt your data client-side before it ever leaves your device. AES-256-GCM encryption with PBKDF2 key derivation means the server sees only ciphertext. Zero-knowledge by design.

• Connects to other GLANCE apps: lastGLANCE can talk to dayGLANCE through GLANCEintents, a cross-app protocol that flows through your own server, not ours. Send a chore from lastGLANCE to your dayGLANCE timeline; complete it in dayGLANCE and lastGLANCE knows. Optional end-to-end encryption keyed to your sync passphrase. No GLANCE Apps account, no GLANCE Apps servers, no telemetry. Off by default.

• Self-hostable and open: lastGLANCE is open source and self-hostable via Docker. Run it entirely on your own infrastructure, or use the hosted version at lastglance.app. Either way, your data stays yours.

No streaks to protect, no guilt. Just an honest picture of where things stand.

What’s new

Billing reliability fixes: Purchases and restores now work correctly after the app has been in the background. Purchase confirmations that do not go through on the first attempt are now retried automatically.
