About this app

Chorebit is a shared chores checklist that lives on your home screen widget. Tap a task once and it is done — the app does not even have to open.

Made for couples, partners, roommates and families who are tired of "I thought you were doing that."

TICK IT OFF FROM THE WIDGET
The widget shows the list title, what is left and who took what. One tap marks a chore done. Completed chores drop to the bottom instead of vanishing, so you can see what the two of you actually got through.

EVERYTHING IS FREE
Several lists, repeating chores, due reminders, sorting, assignee badges, widget text size and background opacity. No subscription, no paywall, no locked settings.

SEVERAL LISTS, NOT ONE LONG ONE
Keep chores, groceries and the weekend apart. Switch lists with one tap at the top of the screen, and the widget follows the list you picked.

WHO DOES WHAT
Put in two names once. Every task carries a badge with the first letter, so a glance tells you who took the bins and who is buying the milk. Assign a task to you, to them, or to both.

DUE DATES AND REMINDERS
Give a chore a date and time and get a reminder on time or 10, 30 or 60 minutes early. Bills, appointments and the bins stop falling through.

REPEATING CHORES
The dishes, the plants, the recycling. Set a chore to repeat every day or every week and it comes back on its own after you tick it off — it does not disappear from the list.

A SHOPPING LIST IN THIRTY SECONDS
Type an item, press enter, type the next. Add the whole grocery list in one go instead of reopening a form for each line.

SORT IT YOUR WAY
By the order you added, by due date, or by who is responsible. Hide completed chores or leave them at the bottom — your choice, in Settings.

SHARE THE LIST
No account means no syncing, so Chorebit hands you the list as text instead: send it to your partner in any messenger with one tap. The recap card shows what the two of you finished in the last seven days.

NO ACCOUNT, NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to lose. Your chores, your lists and the two names are stored on this phone only. The app works with no connection at all.

WHAT IT IS NOT
No boards, no projects, no workspaces to configure. It is a household chores list for two people, and that is all it tries to be. It also does not sync between phones — if you want your partner to see the list, you share it.

• Pick the weekdays a weekly chore repeats on.
• A due date no longer forces you to set a time — tap Today or Tomorrow and you are done.
• The recap counts everything you tick off, repeating chores included.

• Sorting is now a menu that shows what you picked.
