HONEST DEVICE MEASUREMENTS
Phone microphones, cases, distance, frequency, and room acoustics affect results. The app shows an approximate level, not a certified sound-level measurement. Calibration and comparison with a trusted reference can improve consistency between sessions.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
Do not use this app as the only source for occupational safety, medical, legal, regulatory, or hearing-protection decisions. Use a calibrated professional instrument when accuracy is critical. The meter does not record conversations by default and cannot guarantee an exact dB value on every device.
