Ratings and reviews

Nice gameplay. Great for brushing up on skills if you want to play irl. I like being able to earn gems to "buy" different skins, but this is NOT pay to play, which is nice. No obnoxious casino type stuff. As with all of these games, once you reach a certain level, the computer pretty much lets you win 2 out of 3 times. Just enough to keep you playing. It's still good for mindless entertainment at that point, though.

Overall I enjoy it, it's helped me figure out a strategy when playing, it's simple, swift, and generally the odds seem just challenging enough to not be boring easy, while not being discouragingly difficult (if I lose more than thrice in a row I restart the app and it helps). Occasionally it'll glitch out, but not enough to really hurt anything.

My biggest issue is the sort feature. In theory, it should be very helpful and it often is. However, it always prioritizes runs over sets, even if the set is of higher value. For instance, if I have three 5s, including the 5 of spades, but I also have the 3 and 4 of spades, it will always sort to the run, 3,4,5 of spades and leave the other two 5s. Why would I want to do that, since if my opponent knocks or gets gin, I'm then stuck with 10 points (5+5) instead of 7 (3+4)? Very annoying!
