Wow. Tried to set up an account and can't! Tech support was non-supportive. Said there's an issue in creating new accounts. Why the hell did you sell me this package if you can't even create a new account? Edit: Account was set up about a week later. However, over half the time you can't access the dvr from the app, shows it as offline. It's not. Terrible app.

Horrible slow when trying to replay events. It's virtually impossible to see the days events when it takes 20 minutes just to see 15 seconds into an event only then to discover it was a bee that flew in front of the camera. Edit: 11/22/18 still will NOT replay the motion recordings from the app. So when I'm away from home I can NOT see what has happened. The reply said that it's been fixed but nothing has changed. Update Dec 2020. Same deal. They aren't going to improve anything.

After almost 10yrs and my 2nd system from Defender, I now know that Tech Support does not know how to make their app work like expected. Many years of trying different things, apps and Modems. With very little luck. Whenever I need it, it won't work. Ring Doorbell had a sale, we bought one. It works 100% of the time! We love it! The Defender system, well, not so good. We will keep it, it will work fine as an in home system, as long as you don't expect to use Mobile Viewing, should be fine.
