These cameras and app were an overall big disappintment. The app glitches all the time showing random error codes. The cameras are always getting triggered for motion without anything happening. Also, there is no way to accurately adjust them. I'm just waiting to replace them with something better. I bought them through Costco which normally sells good quality products but this just wasnt (costco no longer sells them). I tried tech support but they didn't offer solutions and responses were slow.

I hate this system! if a fly crosses the vision it sets off notifications..I get no less than 25-30 minimum notifications and no way to stop them. everything's set to min or lowest ! seriously thinking of finding a monitoring company to install all new , it's been a few years and I have only set up 4of 8 cameras.i think they are just way too sensitive

plugged into a surge protector. lost power and the unit will not go back online. Did all the troubleshooting. I was so bummed out. But Defender showed me that quality customer service still exists. They reached out after they where made aware of my situation. Together we went through some piliminary requirements to figure out what the issue actually was. Defender had me sendback the NVR at no cost and in turn they sent me a replacement at no cost. I highly recommend Defender.
